Toigo Foundation’s Spring APEx

ICI President and CEO Eric Pan was pleased to engage in a fireside chat with Shannon Salinas, ICI’s associate general counsel for retirement policy matters, at the opening session of the Toigo Foundation’s Spring APEx leadership event at American University. APEx (Advancing Professional Excellence) is a multi-day leadership conference for second-year MBA students that provides a platform for personal and professional development, education on industry dynamics, and career management. ICI and the ICI Education Foundation are long-time supporters of the Toigo Foundation and its mission of promoting greater diversity and inclusion in the finance industry.

During the fireside chat, Pan provided an overview of the registered fund industry and ICI’s mission and membership, shared his own leadership journey, offered advice for those starting their careers, and answered questions from Toigo Fellows.
